Following on from our Fowey Hall “Exotic” Bee hotel blog a little while ago…we have been kindly donated Red Mason Bees from The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Using the charm of Fowey Hall, the creative and delightful headdresses and jewellery by Sarah Drew.com, the stunning and elegant dresses by One Bridal; the most amazing bouquet of flowers by Wild at Heart Country Flowers; make-up and hair by the brilliant Neila; the gorgeous and graceful models Jen Cohen and Kayleigh Sweet and last but not least the talented and lovely Lucy from Lucy Turnbull Photography. Our theme and styling was taken from Agatha Christie's Poirot.
As you all know Bees are on the decline and at Fowey Hall we have decided that we would like to help if we can. Hospitality is what we do best, so a Bee Hotel is what we are going to build. We hope to educate and encourage the children and visitors coming Fowey Hall on the significance of this interesting project.
Here at Fowey Hall we are constantly on the lookout for unique inspiration for all of our couples who have chosen us to host their big day! Each bride and groom is unique to us so it’s always nice to receive great feedback from newlyweds and read about their experience at our lovely venue.
With this in mind we were thrilled when we happened across a real wedding on recently launched wedding blog – Gwens Bridal Bazaar all about Sammy and Ian’s big day here at Fowey Hall. We got in touch with the lovely Helen who is the lady behind Gwen’s Bridal Bazaar and asked if we could feature their big day on our very own wedding blog for all of you and we were thrilled that she agreed to it, so we give you Sammy and Ian’s big day.
