Fowey Hall Hotel, Fowey, Cornwall
Fowey Hall Hotel in Fowey was the inspiration behind Toad Hall in 'Wind in the Willows' and sits in a spectacular location overlooking the sailing and fishing port of Fowey on the South Cornish coast, within its original walled gardens and with commanding views of the river estuary and far out to sea. The town and the local sandy cove at Readymoney are both a short walk from the hotel, which is also within easy reach of the many superb attractions in Cornwall including The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Fowey Hall has linked up with Fowey Town Tours offering guests the chance to take in the fantastic sights of Fowey that guests often miss. Hear all about Fowey’s rich and varied history, from Celtic and Medieval times to the present day, with fascinating stories of smuggling and battles. Part way round, the tour stops at the quayside where a boat awaits - guests can choose to either go on a river cruise or to go wildlife watching with Fowey Marine Adventures.
