Built in 1899 by a former Lord Mayor of London, Fowey Hall is a magnificent mansion set in five acres of grounds, enjoying spectacular views of the ocean and river estuary. Immerse yourself in this commanding Queen Anne Chateau inspired mansion with rich architectural detailing, Baroque plasterwork, vaulted ceilings, exotically wood panelled public rooms and elaborate marble fireplaces. We have also added fine French furniture, specially woven Wilton carpets and stylish touches, but the greatest asset, we believe, is the warmth and friendliness within. If your plans are for a smaller intimate civil wedding with a gathering of friends and family, or even just the two of you with witnesses, then Fowey Hall is the most perfect location to celebrate your marriage. We would welcome the opportunity to meet you and show you around the Hall. Civil Ceremonies Fowey Hall has a variety of rooms licensed for civil ceremonies.

Menus Wedding Breakfast Menu Wedding Buffet & Canapés Menu Special dietary requirements are of course catered for and for our younger guests, we have a special children’s menu. Meals for children under the age of 12 will be charged at half price. We will assist you with the choice of aperitifs and wines to accompany your meal. Wine and Champagne lists are available on request. Afternoon Receptions must finish by approximately 5:00pm. If you require an evening reception you must take exclusive use of the Hotel. Exclusive Use of Fowey Hall Fowey is, without doubt, the finest of places in Cornwall to consider for a wedding or exclusive event. This magnificent mansion with its spectacular location overlooking the sailing and fishing port of Fowey on the South Cornish coast, within its original walled gardens and with commanding views of the river estuary and far out to sea. It is possible to book the hotel exclusively for your wedding party. This closes the hotel to all outside guests and you can have entertainment up until 1am. Exclusive Use of the hotel is only available at certain times of the year. Please contact the Events Coordinator. Exclusive Use Fee Prices start from £6000 This price is per night and is inclusive of all 36 rooms on a B&B rate and room hire of all public areas. If you require exclusive use on Friday or Saturday, both nights must be taken. This price does not include additional equipment that the hotel requires to cater for your party. This may include a marquee, china, glassware, cutlery, service equipment, linen, tables and chairs and other associated costs. The hotel is able to cater for up to 80 guests in the Conservatory for a seated luncheon or dinner. We are able to cater for up to 100 guests in a marquee on the lawn. Entertainment, Flowers and Photography We would be delighted to book musicians and entertainers for you and have a number of florists and photographers that we can recommend, which are adventurous and individual in their style.
