Make time for a break away this May

May is upon us and with two bank holidays to enjoy and warmer weather, its time to plan your early summer break to Cornwall and beat the crowds.

Getting here has never been easier!

Coming to Cornwall has never been easier, with new daily flights from London Heathrow to Newquay. Flybe have opened the route from April until October with 4 flights a day, 7 days a week. You can be in beautiful Cornwall in just over an hour, with no traffic jams, no sat nav - easy! Even if you are travelling with young children in tow, you still don’t need to pack up the car, book that flight as we have everything you need waiting for you in your room on arrival – cots, z beds, nappy changing kits, toiletries and more! We can arrange a taxi to meet you (which provide child seats too) in the arrivals lounge and whisk you away to wonderful Fowey.

Once you arrive in Fowey you will find the garden, green, luscious and bursting into life. Rhododendrons and camellias are in full bloom, azaleas are smelling divine and nature is showing off all its beautiful colours, giving an even more spectacular view from the hotel terrace, whilst sipping a G&T.

Being blessed with warmer climes in Cornwall we have several beautiful gardens to visit right on our doorstep. Garden visits have now become a multi-generational trip to enjoy thanks to the likes of the innovative Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, who not only have beautiful gardens to explore, they have so much more to keep the little ones entertained too! Eden Project always have great activities planned for the children and The Lost Gardens of Heligan have acres of space for them to roam free and even farm animals for the children to meet!

Back at the hotel, after a busy day exploring, you can now enjoy an al fresco meal on the terrace. We will be serving dinner as well as lunch outside, so you can tuck in to one of chefs creations with a glass of wine from 6pm daily, whilst you sit back, enjoy the view and those gorgeous flowers of course!
